That night Teri tells everyone about what has happened.  Everyone is so happy for her.  Every night that week someone has some story to tell that leads to a cause for celebration.  Teri did not notice this until tonight when she is personally able to give her testimony for the goodness of the God as she tells of his greatness and faithfulness.  There are several new people from diverse places.   People from all over the world had come to this special event.  It feels wonderful talking to everyone tonight.  Teri can feel the bliss of her burden lifted.  She chats all night, mingling and getting to know everyone.  At the end of the night Sister Kelly reminds everyone that they are all here with a purpose and for everyone to continue to get as close to God as they can.

By the time Teri opens her front door, it is after midnight.  She knows she has stayed out way to late, but she can not help but to celebrate.  Normally she would have gone out, had a couple of drinks, partied and would have come home more than a little tipsy.  Tonight, however, she stayed sober and enjoyed herself immensely--more than she ever has before.  Someone who also was celebrating getting engaged, brought cake and ice cream, so Teri allowed herself to obtain a sugar high.  It wasn’t until she was driving home that she started to feel sluggish.  Teri puts Christopher in his bed and is ready to crash, but since it is so late she quickly prepares for tomorrow.  Packing two lunches, with extra snacks and getting his diaper bag ready so that she will be ready for tomorrow.  “Thank God it’s Friday!” she says, remembering just how happy she is with her work situation.  Turning off the lights, Teri notices the answering machine light is blinking.  She has several messages. 

Listening to everyone calling her back congratulating her on her new unexpected promotion, Teri is beaming from ear to ear as she feels the sincerity in their voices.  She can not feel any better, when she starts to listen to her last message.  It is from Jason.  As soon as she hears his voice her smile fades away.  He is very apologetic and wants to see her.  “So if you can call me as soon as possible I will appreciate it.  Any time!  You can call me Anytime!”  Teri looks at the clock and even though it is after 12:30, Teri knows that she would take pleasure in waking him up, but that speaking to him is also still not the best idea.  She yawns and goes up to bed.  She will speak to him after all of this is done.  She needs to get prepared for ‘The coming’ and if she speaks with him it will be a total distraction for her.

            The whole day Teri is excited and it shows.  She works diligently, and does not take a lunch break, which also helps her so that she will be able to leave on time.  One minute prior to her days ending, Teri has already packed everything up and turned off her computer.  Jason left her an email, but she did not open it determined not to be distracted.  Teri leaves on time ready to begin her weekend and  participate in “The Coming.”  Picking up Christopher, she talks to him about how happy she is. As soon as she gets into the house she quickly makes lil Christopher something to eat, and packs a bag for her and Christopher.  She is planning on staying at Ginny’s tonight with LaQueia and two other ladies. 

Teri is extremely excited.  She knows that she has made it out of the house without seeing Jason.  The way things are going, it is inevitable that he will stop by sooner or later.  Therefore, making this sleep over at Ginny’s even sweeter and perfect timing.  Staying at Ginny’s house tonight, she will not be on edge knowing that he can not call or pop up at any time.  She quickly leaves and goes to the church.  Filled with peace, Teri is really happy. 

            By the time Teri reaches the church there are several cars in the parking lot and taxis coming to and from the church.  For the first time Teri has to park further back in the parking lot than she has ever done before.  It is an exciting time.  The room is filled with people desiring Gods will to be done.  Sister Kelly has set up a list of each hour of the day, so that people can sign up to pray.  Sister Kelly wants there to be prayer without ceasing.  All this week people have signed up to pray so that there is constant prayer going up to the lord 24 hours a day, for his will to be done and for everyone to be used so that others can accept Jesus.  There are so many people, that even the most undesirable times of the day has more than five to ten people praying. 

            Since there are so many people, they have to start meeting in the sanctuary.  Sister Kelly goes up to the podium and gets the microphone.  She greets and thanks everyone for coming.  “Tomorrow is our last full day.  We now have one day left before we go out and radically make a difference.  Your dedication and obedience to God is astonishing.  As you look around you can see just how many people believe and desire the truth.  We are all in one place in one accord.  Imagine what we will do.  Just like in the book of Acts we are preparing to accomplish the unthinkable.  We are going out to do what movie makers have not been able to depict.  We are making a new kind of history.  Although we have gathered here, there are still several more people that will be doing God’s will in their own home towns and diverse places.

            I can not talk long because it is almost my time to pray and I am the one who is suppose to be speaking in the spirit so I can not be late.  Therefore, if God has put anything in anyone’s heart please speak up.  I am anxious to hear the latest breakthrough.  Since we have been praying it seems that several people are already getting their blessings.  So who is it today?  Sister Kelly lifts up the microphone.  A man stands up and takes it.  He hugs Sister Kelly and then turns around to face everyone.  He nervously stands there for a little while before talking.

“Hello everyone my name is Tim.  Before I got here two days ago I recieved my blessing.  I was promoted to an anchor position within our local news station.”  Everyone cheers happily.  “I am so thrilled.  I know it is God, because there are two people who were more qualified than I was, but both of them decided to leave the company and I was picked to go on as a temporary substitute.  I have been airing for over three months while they interviewed several more qualified people.  But God counted me blessed and I was told I will keep this position permanently.”  Everyone cheered again.  “Well, knowing that I was coming here, I decided that I will tape everything, so I got a crew together and although they are not here they are staying at the same hotel I am staying at.  So many times things happen and there is no clear proof.  Like the blurry pictures of the loch ness monster, big foot or a UFO.  I thought my promotion was a way for us to memorialize what happens. 

But God has been dealing with me a great deal concerning this.  My understanding of this is….well I am not really sure how to say this.”  He pauses briefly saying a quick prayer asking for guidance.  “I still do not know the words but basically I am being pulled not to video tape.  I am not sure if I can tape anything.  What I am getting is that some of us or at least one of us will get too caught up and it will hinder….” His voice trails off as he stops and thinks through his accusations.  “I do not know what it all means but I am just very hurt, and that makes it harder for me to discern everything, because my flesh and natural being is prepared to tape as much as I can.”  He frowns and gives the microphone back to Sister Kelly.  As he goes to sit back down, several people pat him on his back understanding his disappointment.   

            Sister Kelly responds to him by saying, “Tim don’t worry, this event is not the last of its kind.  Once this happens more people will join Jesus and only the lord knows what they will do.  I realize this can really jump start your career and it is disappointing but remember that although God can be talking to one or more of us, he can also be talking to you.  God gave you your promotion and he will carry your career threw.  Don’t worry about this, even if you already told your boss that you have a magnificent story.  God will bless you.”  Tim stood up and smiled.

            “You’re right Sister Kelly, I did tell my boss, so now I’m extremely nervous!  I have been spending my time looking for things in this city and I am struggling.  I apologize everyone if I pushed the blame out toward you.  I just want to make a good impression and I spoke so confidently.  I have some of my news crew here and I feel like I’m a rookie wasting everyone’s time.”  A lady stands up and says, “when we finish, come see me, I have a story for you that will not be disappointing.”  Tim smiles and quickly goes over to sit next to her.

            Sister Kelly smiles, “Tim you never know what God will do, you just might be able to tape certain events.  Also everyone I do want to caution everyone not to get lifted up in pride.  The pure joy of prideful thinking is very seductive.  We have to remember that we are representing God, not allowing anyone to look at us as if we are doing anything within our own power.  Jesus has to be seen through all of us in unison.  So what Tim has said is very important.  Please check your hearts.  I will love for our events to be taped, God willing.”  Then Sister Kelly lifts back up the microphone again.

            One by one, several people come up and introduce themselves and speak on diverse blessings that God has done.  The different backgrounds that people in the room have are massive and impressive.  There are even some very well known artists, musicians, athletes, and government officials.  The sanctuary is mainly filled with regular everyday people preparing, willing and ready to do extraordinary things.  Hearing various testimonies, makes everyone feel unstoppable; God is obviously blessing in abundance.

            After a couple of hours Sister Kelly has to stop the testimonies because it is getting so late. “Lets get together tomorrow at 9am.  We will have a full day of preparation.  As you prepare tonight, do whatever you need to do to come prepared for tomorrow.  Also know that every job that Jesus gives is important, therefore, be proud of whatever it is that God is calling you to do.  We must accomplish a lot so be prepared to work in the Spirit.  Thank you again.”  Everyone is feeling so empowered, no one wants to leave.  Everyone mingles for at least another hour before anyone leaves.  Two hours later everyone is gone except a handful of people in a prayer room, Sister Kelly, Sister Burney, Teri, LaQueia and Ginny.  “Thank you for helping me clean up.  Now make sure that you go home and get prepared for tomorrow.

LaQueia turns to Ginny and says, “Well since it’s so late, I don’t think I’ll come over either.  So I guess it will just be you, Teri and Christopher.”  Ginny gives her a hug and rubs her belly saying goodnight to the twins.  LaQueia’s belly is really showing, poking out from under all of her maternity shirts she’s been wearing.  LaQueia hugs Sister Kelly and Teri.  Teri bends down and reminds the twins to stay until Monday so LaQueia can participate.  Even though they are not due, LaQueia is starting to feel contractions regularly.  Therefore, for the last two weeks straight, Teri has been doing this, which always makes LaQueia smile.  Everyone leaves and Teri follows Ginny back home. 

Even in the dark Teri can see that Ginny’s house is a massive place.  When she comes in she is not disappointed by its opulent appearance.  “Normally I would give you the grand tour, but I am just so tired.  So over there is the kitchen and the living room is over there.  I’ll take you to the room you two will be sleeping in and I’ll show you where the bathroom is.”  When Ginny finishes showing Teri where she and Christopher will be sleeping, she points toward her bedroom.  They hug and say their goodnights.  Ginny leaves heading straight to her bed.  Her guest bedroom is bigger than Teri’s master bedroom at home.  After getting both Christopher and herself ready for bed, Teri snuggles up to him and falls asleep.  They sleep peacefully in Ginny’s soft big guest bed. 

The next day Christopher gets Teri up by giving her soft wet kisses on her nose.  Wiping her face, Teri sits up as she looks around remembering that she is staying over Ginny’s house.  Teri snuggles up in the sheets and plays with Christopher before getting out of bed.  Getting them both ready is a task since she is unfamiliar territory and lil Christopher feels the need to explore and touch everything, making it harder for Teri to get them both ready.  When she is finally done she picks up lil Christopher so that he can not stop and touch anything else and head for the kitchen.

Ginny is already up making breakfast.  “I wasn’t sure what Christopher can eat so I made basic oatmeal for him and scrambled eggs and bacon.  I thought I heard you say you are fasting too, so I didn’t make anything for us.  I hope he’s not allergic to anything I’ve made.” 

Teri thanks her and lets Ginny know that he is not allergic to anything.  “I must admit that I smelled the food and forgot that I am fasting.  Oh my God that smells so good!  Thank you for reminding me, or I would have jumped right in.”  Ginny smiles, “I know what you mean. I forgot and started making pancakes.  Then I remembered after I finished making the batter.  I have been fasting for 6 days with only water and juices and I’ve been doing good, but knowing that I have guest I automatically start playing hostess and almost sabotaged all of my hard work.  That would have been so sad.  I almost broke the longest fast I’ve ever done.”  

Teri agrees, “This is my longest and I’ve only fasted for two days.  I am just so hungry!  I have to literally stop myself.  Whenever I feel hungry, which is all the time, I really push myself to read and meditate on the scriptures.  Times like this, when the food is smelling so good, I really don’t know how long I can last.”  Ginny goes to the living room and grabs two bibles and brings them back into the kitchen, “Well then here’s are breakfast.”  She hands Teri a bible.  Teri puts Christopher in a chair and helps feed him, while Ginny reads specific scriptures regarding fasting, then reads a couple of chapters out of the book of Acts. 

They both go back upstairs and finish getting ready.  Ginny wants Teri to spend the night again so they can actually spend some time together.  Teri agrees and they take one car to the church.  They arrive by 7:45 A.M.  Several people are already there.  They go to the room that is designated for praying and there are around twenty people inside already.  Teri feels the grumble in her tummy and decides to go in.  Ginny takes Christopher and goes to find Sister Kelly to see if there is anything she needs help with.
